New generation air-cooled inverter, which can be installed on the pump motor terminal board.EBARA has introduced E-SPD to better meet the requirements in terms of maximum energy saving, pressure variations, reduction of operating costs and acoustic comfort.

The special features of the new solution are:

• Flexibility, it can be used with both horizontal and vertical centrifugal pumps.
• Versatility due to its design which allows installation on EBARA pump motors from MEC 71 up to MEC 100.
• LCD display innovation which allows you to visualise and modify the operating parameters (instantaneous and reference pressure, Master and Slave configuration if there are several pumps, absorbed current and reference limit), to keep track of the history of the most important parameters, faults and alarms. Its cover can be rotated 180° for easier reading.
• System protection against overcurrents, input voltage fluctuations, dry running and losses in the system.
• Easy installation
• Connectivity : It is equipped with two digital inputs, two outputs and the input for the 4-20 mA pressure transducer that allows different connection possibilities.

Thanks to the RS485 contact, the E-SPD allows parallel operation of up to eight pumps: not only a new inverter, but a new option for managing the system that joins the systems already present in the EBARA product range.
